Didn't have a keyboard I could hook up to the system but it turns out there's also a terminal plugin for DeckyLoader
However, I ran into the same dead-end OP did and even though it says it's solved the solution isn't explained anywhere. It seems like they just came to the conclusion of their device being too old and gave up (that or the solution was in either the deleted comment or the redacted comment)

Interesting findings last night I benchmarked cyberpunk again at 900p 15 watts bazzite was 35fps which is respectable but I then install chimera with Nero flex custom 6.1.78 kernel with the valve tweaks to the acpi and mesa 24.0 drivers and got 44fps this is with same 15 watt tdp cap and settings. Interesting I don’t know what valve did but damn

only issue being discord gifs causing entire app to flicker white, but it can be fixed by turning off hardware accelaration
