MYou should probably make sure to run the MCU updates while windows is still installed. I know BIOS updates are fine from external USBs but idk about controller firmware like that

MI haven’t tested Bazzite on my Ally in a while but I think the normal install ISO is fine these days

CSince the rpm fusion repo's steam doesn't install correctly with rpm-ostree, and you're not using the steam flatpak, how do you (I.e. the bazzite project, not a bazzite user) get steam installed on the bazzite images?

RThe 8000u is not a big enough upgrade over 7000u imo they might release an oled screen and hey need 32 gb as a min it might be more like the steam deck oled if anything
AThe 8000u is not an upgrade period lol. It's literally the same. Z1 has the ai cores disabled so it's the same chip
AMaybe they can get 5% better clocks or sth
ABut if we're being honest, ally is only around 20% faster than the steamdeck at 15w
AThe only reason it performs better is because they shoved more watts and better screen. But you can't do that over the ally
AI would like 32gb tho OLED maybe
AI do use my legion go docked and I would get burn in for sure
