Please tell people to use systemd-mount units instead, maybe even combined with automount units, instead of fstabfstab, it's much safer AND has more possibilities

The nice thing is if things don't work out you can always rebase back

(Although im still new to uBlue and have not done a single rebase myself)

Stuff in your home and /etc/etc are saved as far as i read-up.
But take note of what Kyle said...seems its not recomended. Mostly due to configs in your homedir that depend on the DE

in my experience:
rebasing from GNOME to KDE is usually fine, some GNOME files are leftover in Home but other than that it seemed fine. rebasing from KDE to GNOME may have issues, but they might be fixable without a reinstall

Ok, thanks, Kyle. I have a few bugs lingering in my install and I was thinking maybe a full reinstall would help with those. Would rebasing to the same OS version or an image from the last X days help at all with that?

Rebasing or reinstalling should almost never fix bugs, since we all have the same base image

Thanks, that is a nice informational page about SysRqSysRq but the functionality is a real live safer for freezes...

That sysctl config works for all Linux variants, it's a Kernel functionality
