Kif random massively long boot times (it took so long I reboot since I assume it hung) are normal, that's a problem

QI just put it up to using a pretty slow SSD but maybe not
VI doubt it's "random" if it literally tells you what is happening on the screen.
Ni don't remember how long it took for me, but it was quite a while, around 10 minutes probably
KIt's random in that it's never happened to me before in several months, and I shut down last night with no issues and booted my PC this morning to run into it.

VI will say my least favourite part about bazzite on my deck is update times
VMy PC's not so bad because it just does them
VMy Deck I have to stop using, update it (Usually in desktop mode because I don't trust the game mode updater lol) and then either use it or put it away
KOkay I rebooted again and waiting 6m47sec and it finally completed, automatically rebooted, and then booted normally.
KFreaked me out though since a boot up that long out of nowhere made me think my system was randomly FUBAR
VAre auto-updates still enabled on bazzite desktop?
VI heard something about them being disabled.
VIt's normal, not very frequent, I believe only when kernel changes are made.
KOkay now that I know I won't freak out next time. I've never used an immutable distro before the end of Dec, haven't seen that yet, and so had no idea that was even a thing, so a boot time that long with a process running with 'unlimited' as a timer on boot made me think broken install.
KAnd googling it on my phone got me basically nuffin

VBefore using Bazzite I was already on Fedora Kinoite so it's been a while since I went through the motions of being at the beginning of it all. Definitely still nowhere near an expert on it tho lol
Nsending it now, gonna try daily driving bazzite, hope it sticks and i can actually move to linux
