I don't believe in certs and degrees really, but if getting it is actually going to help you upskill that would ultimately help you get the higher paying Js.

Mmm I see
So maybe not prio right now
Do you have any recommendations for leetcode
That's my biggest weakpoint

No comment, because I am biased against leetcode. IMO spamming leetcode is like a get rich quick scheme. Open for discussion for pro-leetcoders ofc

What do you mean, you didn't need leetcode for your interviews? I'm not pro leetcode. I'm pro getting a job

I don't leetcode, being able to discuss my experience in different roles at length has been enough. I guess having experience as a sw dev helps, but I'm not an excellent dev either therefore not out here trying to land FAANG roles.

Ahh I see
Makes sense
I can't find any jobs where you don't need leetcode
Perhaps because you are senior

I don't have a degree and have worked at FAANGDU as SWE
I recommend doing leetcode. Smallest effort you can make for massive $$$ returns
Recommend the Algorithms and Datastructures course on Coursera
That plus leetcode helped me get into faang, and have helped me get into every job since then

Do you have the name of the specific course? Im assuming there’s multiple DSA courses on there.

You do not need a degree to assist with employment

I really liked https://www.coursera.org/learn/algorithms-part1. There's a great book that goes along with it. It's in Java, but that shouldn't matter too much.
But I took it a long time ago
there might be better courses out since then
