Sourabh here from BuddyBoss LLC. I am a Technical Product Manager.
I have a concern regarding the integration we want to build with Cloudflare stream.
Who we are:
We have paid WordPress plugins that allow our customers to turn their WordPress site into a feature-rich community site.
All the community features we provide also have native iOS and Android app support.
Our Plans with Cloudflare:
We want to provide Cloudflare LIVE Stream integration with our WordPress products.
Cloudflare Stream solution looks very good for us to provide to our customers.
That means we want to allow our customers to do LIVE Stream right from the WordPress site using our product.
Customers would purchase Cloudflare Stream plans, connect with BuddyBoss, and start using it.
We have about 20k customers, who would potentially look to purchase the Cloudflare plan and connect it themselves.
What we need:
For now a couple of points:
1) LIVE Stream is available with RTMPS but WebRTC is in beta.
That too no recording option for WebRTC with beta.
If we can get a rough ETA on this that will be really nice.
We can launch the feature in our product with just RMTPS and WebRTC we can integrate it later whenever it is available.
But if we can get some sense of ballpark ETA also, even like this year or 2025 or later.
That will really help us to plan better.
2) Can we get a Cloudflare Stream representative or support contact who can help us build this integration?
Any help here would be really nice.
Mostly we would like to build a relationship here and get answers to our concerns in this regard.
OR we can schedule a call to discuss about it, that would be really nice as well.
