check the "shake" slider in the IL2 FFB settings. It defaults to max, I believe, but just in case... Also your Periodic LPF value in the configurator expert settings will have an impact (default is 20Hz I believe).

Is there a setting to tighten up the center of the stick? When in top dead center it feels like ther is no resistance for the 1/8 inch all directions. There is just a little more play then I perfer and rather not have to set a big dead spot in game settings.

hey, small question, for dcs ww2 planes, when i fly low speed or stand still, the stick is feeling nice, getting a good feel when you reach low speed with less wind, but from above 200 to max speed, i cant feel a different, i think with a steep dive on max speed the stick would feel verry heavy to turn, but i cant feel that.

I have the same dilemma but I still have a little way to go on getting my rhino. I have reached out to Walmis a couple of times to ask if there is any intention to release an updated Rev.C adapter but I haven't had a response yet. However there is a solution…
I have spoken to VKB and you can purchase the MCGU revB twist adaptor which is fully compatible.
My issue is I use extensions which is a little more problematic - VKB are offering to send me a cable to change the internals on the RevC extensions but I'm still not sure how that works.

The 4th hat works like axis-to-button for the thumb stick, so if you calibrate the thumbstick the hat will work properly

within dcs, the axis tune has no curve set on it. and i can see that the excursion output goes to 100% when the stick is pushed 1/3 forward so axis scaling is working properly

I don’t fly the a10, but isn’t that normal down elevator deflection? Most jets do not have symmetrical throw.

If DCS is showing full excursion in the axis viewer, I’d say it’s working properly.

There have been some instances of winwing grips needing to be calibrated on a WW base but I believe that was for the axes not working instead of the buttons.

From the log it looks like the adapter is communicating with the base correctly. Check if the 6 pin WW connector is fully seated, sometimes it needs a good push.

It is seated as firmly as I can put it in there. I plugged it back into the original WW base and the buttons etc still work there

the plug can come out slightly from the grip, I plug it in without screwwing the nut around the base and try still no buttons

A question on TelemFFB. I'm wondering what unit of measurement the prop diameter is supposed to be in. I see some appear to be in inches, some in feet, and some in metres. And, follow-up question - what is the side effect? I'm attempting to make the DA42 profile I made more accurate, and have been comparing it to the other aircraft already in TelemFFB. BTW, this software is awesome, and greatly appreciated - thanks for all the hard work - FFB takes the sim to the next level!

You can enter it in whatever units you want, as long as you select the right unit from the drop down. It gets converted internally to the proper unit for the calculations where it’s used (which is meters).

It’s pretty much only used in the calculation to determine how much the prop wash affects the elevator droop.

Wow - I totally missed that because I was working in the larger settings table, where the unit of measure is not exposed. I see it now in the active plane settings tab. I normally don't see that view as I'm normally in VR. Sorry for the silly question!

ahh... yeah, your right... the "settings manager" (table editor view) doesn't expose the unit. Actually considering exposing the ability to edit offline models from the main window settings tab and then reserving the table view for modifying the sim and or aircraft category defaults. The capability (to modify any aircraft config) in the main settings tab already exists in debug code.. just needs to be cleaned up and integrated with the UI more cleanly than it currently is.
