For SDDM themes, you'll want them to be in the form of an RPM

Thanks. I'll probably avoid layering because I know that's supposed to be used sparingly and could cause issues if overdone. A login theme, while nice, isn't worth the trouble it theoretically might cause.

Layering an SDDM theme shouldn't cause issues, main thing is layering exposes you to dependency issues like DNF might

You can alternatively create a SDDM conf file and point the themes to a directory in your home folder

It's a bit of tinkering, but it also works, and you can download the themes as regular zips from pling.com or something

Does anyone know where I could look for a “walkthrough” of different plugins and different things baiter can do? Not sure how to word that fully lol. I’m not new to Linux or anything, but I am new to SteamOS and how the different plugins for bazzite (such as simpledeckytpd) affect the device, but I can’t seem to find any videos or wikis on anything like that. Thank you in advance!
