Dwhile waiting, I'll ask. Is it possible to move the folder with the game that I have installed on my PC (via Steam) so that I don't have to wait for it to be downloaded again to Bazzite?

YHi all, I'm running Bazzite on my Legion Go. I try to use Parsec, but hardware decoding seems to be disabled (gaming mode AND desktop mode). Software decoding doesn't cut it at all. Does anyone know how to fix this/enable hardware decoding?
KI would try Sunshine. I know for a fact hardware decoding works fine here

Tparsec on linux is not very maintained right now. it only officially supports an end of life Ubuntu
Ti think it somehow came back to our first-boot setup utility even though i removed it previously because it has end of life runtimes, but the bazzite portal is being reworked right now anyways

NThat is a huge bummer. Folks I play games with will stream using parsec because steam streaming doesn't work between Windows machines and Linux machines very well.

YBummer... Parsec is so much nicer to use imo. Main benefit of it is the ease of use when using it outside of my own WIFI network. Haven't ever been able to set that up properly through sunshine

KThe logo is a steam game mode feature, you can remove ours and then Valve's deck one will show

KGame mode is a part of steam which is closed source software, we can only make minor customizations
Tyou can add a custom one and it can kind of be blank but it won't really improve startup time
KThe video can be skipped as well by pressing a button on a controller or your keyboard
