It's really weird because like, when I hit apply it just kinda gives up and doesn't even try to change resolutions if it can't do it. It feels like something that should have an error in plasma but plasma has no idea what happened so it just doesn't respond with anything

but it's so neat to have!

I wish I could give you more info on that, but I noticed that I have to move my mouse on a restart before solaar gets automatically launched xD

and I use this for autostart and .desktop

The battery icon is def. possible on GNOME, but I lack even basic programming knowledge.. I really don't know how to enable this ...

pretty straightforward, you need to set a scaling driver that supports CPU boost. If supported, then you can toggle boost on/off easily:

echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/boost

echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/boost

amd-pstate-epp doesn't support CPU boost controls, though it should eventually arrive in kernel 6.9 or later
