Is it possible for other distros to have left "traces" of itself on my drive after I wipe it? Within the steam folder itself, there are the ubuntu12_16 and ubuntu12_32 files. Wasn't sure if those were normal.

I think I'm closer to a solution. If i fully close steam, unmount the drive, then remount it and open steam, games will work. However, if I restart my PC, the issue persists.
