Fixed it. I ran mokutil --resetmokutil --reset and rebooted, then rebooted again and enabled secure boot, and now it says it's enabled with mokutil --sb-statemokutil --sb-state. Thanks for the help :)
Does Bazzite use wayland by default? Just thinking about maybe giving it a go because I may have just blown up my main fedora install by complete accident by running a dnf update when I didn't know my system had a loose dimm in it and oops, whole filesystem is now corrupted
One of the main reasons I am on bazzite is that it ships non-flatpak steam in the base image. There's a known performance issue with flatpak steam (https://github.com/flatpak/flatpak/issues/4187) and having a regular package makes it a lot easier to use mod managers
