I tried aurora-dx the other day, DevPod is really cool and so nice having docker etc all pre-installed. I'm seriously contemplating switching to aurora-dx for my dev work.
the last thing I want to be doing is writing a million billion script files to make everything exactly how I want it. I know some people are into that and that's fine but I dunno I like actually USING my computer
I mean, sure it takes a little longer to get features than KDE does but I find when it does get those features they're often significantly more polished
that's by far the main appeal for me. GNOME is just so goddamn polished. Yes features take a bit longer to get to it but it's one of those things where it's like "I know that when a feature DOES come to GNOME that it's going to be polished and it's going to just WORK"
