the last thing I want to be doing is writing a million billion script files to make everything exactly how I want it. I know some people are into that and that's fine but I dunno I like actually USING my computer
I mean, sure it takes a little longer to get features than KDE does but I find when it does get those features they're often significantly more polished
that's by far the main appeal for me. GNOME is just so goddamn polished. Yes features take a bit longer to get to it but it's one of those things where it's like "I know that when a feature DOES come to GNOME that it's going to be polished and it's going to just WORK"
Im setting up gridcoinresearch on my server. It’s a cryptocurrency based on boinc allowing a proof of work based blockchain with actual real benefit to the world
KDE Plasma has gotten a lot better and I consider it very good looking and polished too. No, my main issue is I much prefer GTK apps to Qt, and GNOME has a much more consistent visual design with its apps
