But I was of course referring to an option that everyone has to turn off these emails, maybe indeed something that you could push as part of the workers code or a setting in the dashboard to turn of warnings for your account. Not sure what you are referring to in the ARC rewrite.

Not sure if that's possible with email workers, again, I'm not a programmer lol (I wish I knew... anything about programming).

But, ARC is now a forced requirement for consistent deliverability to Google/Microsoft.

hopefully this helps (I just make the assumption if you ARC your mail, google will no longer think it's "From: Gmail account -- To: samegmailaccount"... which would stop those messages; but, you're right, perhaps it is a worker's "flag" or whatever the term would be. I'll be watching, you have me curious now.

Hi, I've been wanting to do an http call for the Catch-all address and have attached an email worker to it. But the email worker gets triggered a little to much. I also have mailforwarding in the same worker and the mails recieved in the inbox match the number of times i've sent mail. Ideally the number of mails recieved should match the number of http calls done in the worker, unless im missing something

Hi, could any @cloudflare dev @Cloudflare (Dev) @Cloudflare Internal member answer my question? Is it possible to whitelist sender email addresses or even a full email route to always deliver the email to the worker script? Then in the worker script we can decide if it sent from a valid source (we use it to download specific XML attachments, so we can skip spam mails easily).
Now emails are sometimes not reaching our worker due to some spam rejection. I can see them in de the dashboard with an error, but they did not reach my worker script.

You can't get any details, as Cloudflare does not provide the mailboxes.

Cloudflare Email Routing is solely forwarding messages, so when it forwards e.g. "example@example.comexample@example.com" (Cloudflare custom domain "

") to your iCloud address "example@icloud.comexample@icloud.com" (iCloud's domain "icloud.comicloud.com" ), the actual IMAP details you need, will be the ones that are valid for the "example@icloud.comexample@icloud.com" account on iCloud.

it's been a bit but when someone else reported this quite a few months ago it was only possible to use the Email Routing tab if you were superadmin on the entire account, lot of those settings (addresses, workers, etc) are account-wide things

you can be the domain administrator, the most permissions you can grant a user on a specific domain, still not enough though. Need Account-wide permissions

yea CF's RBAC is sadly super limited. I just double checked and even Zone Domain Admins can't even see the tab, and looks like no account-scoped role except Admins/Super Admins can modify addresses/get past Get Started as they don't have permissions for the account-wide addresses endpoint

I am using Odoo ERP/CRM. They provide a python script which can be ran on a POSTFIX or EXIM mail server to push received emails into Odoo. Could this type of script be ran as a worker with email routing on Cloudflare, and avoid the need for a seperate POSTFIX email server all together? I don't need the POSTFIX server for sending emails as we use Mailgun/Sendgrid for outbound, I only need to catch emails and push them into Odoo.

A basic question I couldn't find an answer to:
If I use cloudflare email routing with the domain mydomain.commydomain.com I can't have another MX record. So I route a mail from mail@mydomain.commail@mydomain.com to mail@secretdomain.commail@secretdomain.com. Now if I want to answer that mail, is it possible to use mail@mydomain.commail@mydomain.com as the sending address, so no one sees the secretdomain.comsecretdomain.com address?

You don't need any records to send on behalf of a domain. You should add SPF, DKIM, DMARC records to ensure the emails arrive/aren't thrown into Spam though
