works perfectly for me on fedora 40 standard. I had some issues trying to work it back into bazzite with weird mouse size changing shenanigans which aren't happening on regular fedora so god knows why tbh so I just went back to standard fedora for the moment until that patch gets folded into bazzite at hopefully the next release

The easiest option might be to use bluebuild and add it yourself. Then it'll generate a custom image for you based on bazzite once a day with everything else stock (unless you change something else) but with the patch applied.
