When you filled out the pre order form did you get an email reply?

(basically a copy of the form you filled out should have been emailed to you at that exact moment)

That email doesn’t confirm you’re on the list but that’s how the google docs work so I’d check for that first to be sure you didn’t make a mistake and forget to “submit” the form.

If you can indeed find the form.

I’d ping Walmis and ask him about it.

If you order the DIY kit the bot will invoice you as soon as they have your order assembled and your shipping calculated.

My order took a total… of 4 freaking days. TOTAL.

I got lucky and probably ordered right when new stock arrived before it was earmarked for the next order.

It can take some time depending on what you order and if it’s in stock or not.

IF you are on the Official Rhino pre order the bot will message you when your unit is being build and see if you want to Pay or drop out of line.

A lot of folks must drop out of the line because I see it move pretty quick.

So it matters if you are DIY or if you are official pre order that determines how long the wait is.

looks like there's a bunch of left over effects, probably from telemFFB ?
You can click reset all effects in telemFFB or restart DCS it will reset the FFB automatically

No. 0072 says hi! How do I pull the top part off the shaft? Only two of the four screws were in their threads and I was advised to insert a nut in the shaft to fix it. But my hands are too weak to pull the part out.

You don't need to pull it out to add the nuts, just unscrew the connector and you will get full access

I shined a light in the holes and neither is aligned. So that's why the screws don't connect. I guess a nut cannot fix this?

I removed some plastic with a dremel. I can now get the pilot-facing screw in, but the forward facing doesn't want to connect. I think it's the screw thread. I tried swapping screws but that didn't help.

I put it back together with just 3 screws. I realised the fourth screw could drop into the Rhino at any time. The noise is unchanged. It's like a thud and I feel it in my hand too. But I don't feel any play in Y-axis. Maybe I imagined the play and it was just the thump I felt?

I fought with mine for some time trying to source some creaking/popping. I focused on the connector for a while too, but it ultimately turned out to be the pulley screws. They had loosened themselves up a bit which was allowing the Y pulley to shift ever so slightly under heavy loads. Giving them a good cinching down resolved the issue for me.

It does produce a different feeling type of dampening from the normal "Dampen" effect type.

@legobirds , this effect actually uses spring force to generate the dampening effect. So if you have your spring set relatively low, you won't get a lot of dampening effect out of it.
