ZI see. chsh breaks bazzite as a lot of scripts are written using bash.
Vif you want to use fish safely leave your default shell as bash (or zfs) and just have fish as your interactive shell or selected shell in the profile of whatever terminal client you're using
Vand also only run scripts you don't know the ins and outs of in bash
Vthere's even fish plugins to run a line as bash easily without having to fully go into bash
