VI’m thinking here what is the best option for others to replicate
VI can set on systemd service a script to validate if the gpu is connected and after that change the tdp
VBut i dont know if this will be simple to others to replicate
VI will do some meetings at work and when i finish i will test something and send here the results, also i will create a github repo to put all the things that i done

WThe installer says that it needs at least 21.45GiB of disk space to install.
WYou'd need much more than that for the games
WWIn short it appears that the layered RPM is just better overall
Rhi there, has anyone encountered an issue while using Bazzite for emulation? im having an issue while using Emudeck and the rpcs3 where i cant loate the folders
THi, is there anything special I need to do to enable SSHD on Bazzite and/or other ublue distros?
TThe Steam flatpak can't provide any sort of system integration, that's the biggest reason not to use it.
TLike, gaming mode is pretty much a desktop environment, and you're not supposed to ship DEs in Flatpak. DE apps, sure. Not DEs.

TI use Steam's Flatpak on my main computer as well and I'm happy with it
TBut my main computer is explicitly running Plasma 5.27 on X11 for a myriad of reasons
Tthat mainly come down to wayland not being ready for my usecases and being annoyed with the perpetual bikeshedding
Ter, I just noticed something... I'm installing EmuDeck and I went to pick a custom location, and the Adwaita file picker came up on Plasma???
TLook, I'm not gonna lie. It's already super weird for me that there are GNOME apps all over the place on Plasma, but don't tell me we're using GNOME's xdg-desktop-portal???

Pthink there's more to it... mostly video drivers. if flatpak receives nvidia updates before the distro things get funky afaik
TDo you mean the other way around? Like distros getting nvidia updates before they're available in Flatpak?
Tbecause if Flatpak gets it first, that's a new version and it just won't download it until the distro switches to it
Pi think bottomline is a mismatch thing that makes an issue but I've never ran into it myself I just remember reading it

THaving this team on the Deck experience is a key advantage over whatever MS ends up doing around the edges to improve Windows on handhelds. Putting in this level of effort to basically speed up system updates (which i doubt many users find is a major problem currently), shows the platform is maturing.

MWhat about displayport to HDMI 2.1 adaptors? If you have an old enough card you have to use one anyway. Haven't tried it on Linux, but it works fine on Windows

EI was trying Vesktop out last night for the 1440p60FPS and had to share my game window twice essentially.

KHe keep showing if a click in the item to show the screen he doenst show de screen, it only work when i use in firefox.
Ti think vesktop is the ony linux discord client to work with screen sharing on wayland
5I've done this and worked for 4k HDR 120hz in Debian (well hdr sort of worked in kodi). HDMI cec even worked over display port
