NAnyone got the info for the motor kits? Looking at building a collective. Looking at the ideal motor for a collective. what mounting hole pattern spacing, shaft diameter and the ideal belt ratio.

DLook for the Virpil Collective thread on this discord. That will give you some ideas of retrofitting to an existing collective. I believe there is also someone else who built a collective from scratch. I'm half way through the Virpil mod. Just waiting for a longer belt.

AThe potentiometer inputs can be assigned as axes in configurator.
TThe numbers are the size.
The larger size are stronger motors but the large ones are for pedals mostly or for custom builds.

HOh, you are so fu*%$& baaaad ...
SOh I have no doubt, I'm just not sure I want to hang onto the Libra until I get it. I'm looking into the Orion 2 now. It would be nice to remain in the WW ecosystem so I can keep using their amazing FA-18 grip. But there are also tempting offers from Verpil and VPC that more closely reflect helicopter cyclics in both grip and stem.

TDue to the wait times on a Rhino (unless you DIY)
I recommend sticking to all current gear until you grab the Rhino.
After that rebuild the rig around the new much larger base.
I was originally thinking extension but due to the height of the unit and the length of the shaft on the Rhino it’s like having an extension already so you may need to adjust things to get them back into proper flight positions.
So I say… keep the WW base and you’ll really have something to look forward to when the Rhino comes.
The actual wait list is like 7months and the bot can tell you the average wait per unit is like.. 200ish days.
So get on that list now!

SI already am on the list. There's 600 odd units ahead of me
TThe list moves slowly… 1 or 2 a day and then suddenly it’s updated with all the drop outs and you’ll fall like 100 overnight!
TAlso you’ll be able to see the live updates and they ship them every single day (usually a few)
SHmm, yeah. I did JUST do a full new PC build and pit mounting upgrade so I'll sit on this one for a while
TUsually you can figure something out and some of the makers are beginning to sell Rhino mounts for sim rigs (I think the one I saw was from simfab?)
TI was originally floor mounting but now I’m settling on a pedestal because it’s more accurate throw and the Rhino just feels… amazing at the perfect throw
SMy plan is to mount it to the baseboard I just made for my pit with a cyclic style extension and throw limit blocks

Sthis baseboard build I just did is the first time I've had all the simpit hardware hard mounted effectively to its self in all my time flying DCS. I cannot emphasise how great it feels to give a boot full of rudder and not worry about the pedals or seat shifting

There is a big refactoring of the code by walmis in this update in an effort to better organize the code. As such, there are some important NOTE's below. So be sure to at least read the first few lines
Several other goodies below that folk's have been waiting for as well.

General/System:
- Major code refactoring and re-organization of code- NOTE: Users running from python natively will need to re-run the requirements.txt pip install or manually install the "stransi" python library
- NOTE: The format of the system settings in the registry has changed, thus you will need to re-configure your TelemFFB system settings.
- Distribution structure has been changed. You will again notice some subfolders that contain the compiled python libraries and other supporting files. This was done to aid in reducing false positive malware detection.
- New Global "vpconf" profile option
- Can set the "startup profile" in system settings to use as a default configurator profile. If the profile was changed by an aircraft and there is no profile defined for the newly loaded aircraft, TelemFFB will re-push the global default

- New option to prune log archive zips after a configurable time threshold

- Fixed effect playing while stationary on the ground with a headwind
- Enhanced nosewheel shimmy so the shake frequency is higher at higher speeds and reduces as speed decreases

- A2A Comanche now uses acceleration vector data directly from the AccuSim flight model. This should fix the long-standing "shifting stick position" issue.

CTomcat pilots of Rhino land, what spring, damper, inertia, friction settings do you have? I had pretty good settings with light damper/onertia/friction for the Apache but it doesn’t seem quite right for the Tomcat around center
BI do love 3d printing, but boy do I hate 3d printing

BIt's the grip mount connector, usually its a 3d printed part, not an issue in an of itself, but one careless mishap switching grips and it becomes useless
Band you can print one if you have the tools, but yea, 3d printing is a pain at times

NI meant if it can be integrated into a 3d printed grip connector part
NBecause it looks like it would be a real pain if the threads ever get destroyed on a DIY rhino
