Cool, I'm currently using the mongoose and I really hate the 8 way hats as they never click the direction you want.. happy to see this one uses only 4 way .

I use the left hand Alpha for my collective and it's great. The hats could be better, I might but a rubber braille dot on top of each one. But it's a great grip and the scroll wheel is a fantastic and unique feature

Anyone know of a L shaped stick extension I can get? I have a VKB gunfighter grip. I looked at the VKB, Virple, and Winwing stores and non have an L shaped stick extension. Would I have to build my own?

That z grip is as close you'd get to an l, I'd doubt you actually need and L.

The grip end of that swivels so it makes a fully straight up stick, it just has a 15cm offset, it does build nearly 11cm to though.

I’m mounting it to a pedestal because the normal throw (22 degree) is absolutely perfect for me.

Also it’s not a huge deal but an extension lowers the forces you feel (ever so slightly) so I’m able to run the rhino at slightly lower settings and get basically the same stick feel.

I’ll post a pic when it’s finished but remember like ALL things with me… Slow AF

Everything to assemble the Protomaker build is on the BOM in the assembly page. (Page 2)

As nubbins said only Gadroc build and some light mods use the inserts.

Most of the builds out are the proto build and they are all running strong!

my VKB setup is made of almost exclusively 2by4 and plywood, I just need to replace my dining chair for a garden furniture and itll be full ghetto

I'd recommend getting some 2by4 and long screws to mount it on the chair bracket, or a pedestal with piece of ply and then your heels/pedals will stabilize it

Hi! I'm new to FFB. I'm wondering if the deceleration - stick forward effect is a realistic one or is that art added to FFB? i'm just confused why the stabilators would change to nose down due to breaking. or is it the inertia of the stick pulling it forward? in that case isn't it a little strong of an effect?

It's not meant to be realistic, more of an 'art' added for immersion like various vibrations. Some may like it some may don't - it's always possible to turn it off.

Hey guys - does anyone have experience with the VKB Rev C adapter (mk4)? I have a Rev B with the pins and the contact patch and the disconnects are driving me insane. Was wondering if the Rev C works better or not? Seems to be a minijack configuration, which should be far superior, by the looks of it?
