The chair is really solid. When I had my mounts on another chair, the chair was the weakest link by far

Here is the make shift pedestal I’m making.

I’ll cut and carpet the base board same as the chair.

Metal plate is the foot rest for the pedal mount.

Easy peasy little pedestal with some drawers to hold the extras and cords or whatever you’re not using.

Like I said it’s WIP so don’t judge me but yeah.. Solid mount is what I’m after as well

The Rhino is currently on the mounts lowest setting, but is way to high realistically. So figure mounting it on the chair lower down, will mean the not only is it in the correct height but it won’t hit the ufc. Win win.

Pretty happy with my ghetto 2x4 + plywood modified Virpil desk mount. I recently replaced the adjustable furniture legs I was using (because they were wobbly) with a small plywood pedestal which is secured to the floor with 3m micro suction “tape”.

Pretty easy to disconnect from the desk and pop it off the floor if needed.

@walmis How hard would it be to add a second dial to control each motor separately? I have the factory assembled version. Sometimes I feel the pitch forces are weaker than aileron forces, I have modified the graph and that helped somehow but having a dial would be a lot easier.

Hey Moto! For warbirds a lot of the time the ailerons would stiffen up more than the pitch control, since pulleys and bobweights were more optimized for such. So the difference between the two in this case for WW2 is I think generally ok, without pulling out a calculator

In a non-FFB configuration, you can see in a diving P51 for instance that rudder and ailerons will constrict in control in DCS before the elevators

True, but still think pitch control could be a bit stiffer than it is, specially the initial pull which is too soft, compared to how stiff roll is represented in FFB, which I think its really well modeled. This is how it feels IRL in the warbird I fly.

Both the stock 3D printed and aluminum versions are compatible with TM and Virpil grips.

The list moves slowly but the numbers don’t match pre order numbers.

So for instance every so often he will update the list with everyone who dropped off and you will drop 150 spots over night.

The bot is showing actual sales shipments and doesn’t account for drop outs.

For that he updates the list and that’s why it’s never actually a 1000 unit wait

And yeah the good part about being on the wait list is you’re here hanging out and watching the “proof in the pudding” so to speak.

You’re learning and absorbing tips and tricks while watching the software improve with updates AND you get to see its all legit.

You also get to meet some cool Rhino drivers and hear the feedback or tips and tricks from their set ups
