whats the best way to install a different kernel (i understand that i will be missing patches)? i need to install a kernel from a copr repo (@lukenukem/asus-kernel) to get a 6.9 kernel with appropriate patches for my laptop, since Bazzite is missing stuff and is on 6.8.
I tried rpm-ostree override remove kernel --install kernel-6.9.2-669.rog.fc40.x86_64rpm-ostree override remove kernel --install kernel-6.9.2-669.rog.fc40.x86_64 but there are a lot of dependentent kernel package conflicts.
I found that it was easier to use the https://github.com/ublue-os/image-template as a starting point, if you want to add packages to an existing ublue image. You can also fork the bazzite project but you'll need to make quite a few edits in the build.yml workflow to get it to work in your fork
I did see there was a brief discussion on this discord previously about it but it didn't seem like any conclusions were drawn. Anyway I'm interested in what people think?
