Da buddy of mine is having issues with Nvidia drivers, is there an easy way to roll it back to a previous version without messing with the rpm-ostree layering

KWe've been on the current stable release for quite some time however, would have to be a very old image

Djust the nvidia driver not the whole os build, hes having flickering isseus in steam and discord
KTell him to use X11
Dwhile using wayland, he switched to x11 and some of the isses seemed to be gone
KThere is no stable Nvidia driver that supports Wayland, that's completely expected
Dx11 scaling is awful though
KThey are going to have to wait for the next driver release

Kis this hardware-cetric? there is a folk from another sever trying to install this on Nobara, but on his destop, he does't have any Deck-like handheld and wanted to try out this neat feature, he understands that using Steam Big Picture mode is not the same thing haha
KCoincidentally steam big picture is hugely fucked on Nvidia
KIt's a driver problem, there's nothing that can be done to fix it by us
KIf they want to try it I would recommend they buy an AMD GPU or a modern Intel one

Mthe funniest part is that the only way big picture mode isn’t broken on nvidia 555 is if you use the steam deck client
MOtherwise it’s fully broken instead of like… 50% broken

Kbut can't you use regular gamescope for this? passing on the necessary parameters via CLI (Steam Launch Options), afaik what Valve did with their side panels is just passing on new parameters to the gamesope session client

Gon install can i load the os on 2 drives?. i have 2 512nvme and a1tb ssd. one nvme is windows (have to for school). i want to split the tb in half 1 half windows, the other linux. the other 512 will be linux.

KI would install Linux to the 512 and then use the other half of the Windows drive as a shared BTRFS partition
