Ok, so you need to have a special parts besides just the connectors to go from the rhino to winwing. So what do I need?
I have the adapter but I can't get it tight enough even with o-rings installed to stop from twisting. I was trying to come up with my own adapter machined from aluminum but need a wire harness now.
In the process of turning my base around and reversing the grip connector the yellow wire had come out of the white connector. I have managed to push it back in and it appears to be working ok at the moment but wondered if this is readily available cable I could purchase either locally, or via VPForce, and easily replace if my temporary fix doesn’t hold up?

Has anyone managed to replace the fan with a quieter one (like a Noctua). Or if not can you share any details of what spec fan (size and plug) I should be looking for?
I have some issues: (1) the stick vibrates when neither the Config or TelemFFB apps are running (2) the gain pot on the base isn't working (3) the force is odd and not responding to adjustments in the config app. I've restarted Windows, checked for firmware updates, I'm applying the changes. It's my first day with the Rhino, so I may be doing something wrong, but it all looks strange. Any ideas?
1.) Vibrating? Or oscillating? If its oscillating, thats likely caused by too high gain on friction/damper or having the spring mapping pulled in too tight. If its actually vibrating (like an engine rumble), it could be a stuck effect. Look in the debug tab of the configurator software to see what effects are active ("Loaded Effects" pane on the right side of the page). Square/Sine/Triangle/Sawtooth are periodic (vibration) type effects. 2.) How is the pot configured in the configurator software? You can connect the pot to any of the sliders, but its probably set to "none" by default 3.) not sure I understand. Can you elaborate?
Is there a way to set a button on my winwing Orion throttle to control the hardware force trim for the rhino joystick. Another words, turn a knob on my throttle to pitch nose up or down instead of a button on my joystick?
Recently i'm noticing my X-Axis being offset a few percent, using Protomakers DIY base, Virpil 20cm extension + Constellation Alpha grip. I guess it's caused by the rather long extension + heavy grip? Whatever i set in the balance spring, i can't get it to properly center without using adaptive recentering. Even if i rotate the grip bringing the brake handle over to the right side, it still feels like there is a bias pulling the stick to the left, away from center. Any idea whats wrong?
Completely forgot about the static force effect.. thanks Could be the gimbal, i did notice odd sounds from time to time, guess i'll have to take it all apart again at some point.
@walmis @Number481 There is an issue in IL2 where we cannot get full elevator with the Rhino, this picture is with the stick pulled all the way back, VPforce default configuration. How can I full elevator deflection with the Rhino? which settings do I need to change?
I mean, as far as IL2 is concerned, its just an axis. The fact that it is FFB capable is irrelevant here. You should look at the real-time axis graph and the X/Y data in the Configurator app. I suspect that you will find your axes are not going to +/-4096 with full deflection and you probably need to recalibrate.
