Gaming mode might be passing through the touchscreen as a mouse, you can try changing it to native touchscreen in steam controller settings and see if that works, or you can try using the fake touch options.

You can open the wine configuration under Legacy Wine Tools as well, you can edit the settings under Desktop Integration, but the theming options are pretty limited
Yeah it's to fix this, put Notepad++ into dark mode and the menu bar and a few other parts of the UI aren't themed, but I can't just hide the menubar because then it never unhides
I would send a screenshot but spectacle is crashing so uh, yeah. You could potentially install a theme file, but out of the box there isn't a dark theme.
Notepadqq looks pretty nice to me, I didn't realize that existed lol. I generally just use Kate for most files, unless I am working on a larger project I use VS Code. Might give qq a try as my default basic editor.
