I've got a WinWing F-16 stick, so I added the adapter. I have a 3d Printer, do I NEED to order limiters or anything that I can't print?
THow I will mount It I have no idea yet, so i'll poke through here for ideas. Full 6dof, actuator based rig w/ a RigMetal Ultimate.
Alimiters are very simple things and I think the files should be available

TMounting the Rhino is a project in its own haha
Nrigmetal is 4080-based yeah? monstertech has a plate, and walmis also has a similar plate available in the order form
TYup - so this plate will work for floor mounting (feet area) on the RigMetal (it's 4080 based, standard extrusion)
TWhat about the machined aluminum grip mount. Needed or worth it?

WSome people prefer metal, for durability, when changing grips often. I personally haven't had issues with the stock ones. Just don't cross thread the stock one and it will last forever

SIf i wanted to upgrade/make a FFB collective how would i go about doing that? Make a collective base from stratch or would i upgrade a base (like for example virpils offering) with a motor kit?
SI hadn't thought of that. What forces would you expect to feel through the collective?
SWell if possible the same as for example a ffb throttle stuff like AP/AI copilot/FCS inputs to the collective
SOk. I didn't know helo's had that, but I see how it would be helpful. Sounds similar to the A/T on a Boeing, if I'm understanding correctly.
SOne thing that i think would be nice is if ur in AP the collective moves since you might disengage the AP if you accidentally move the non ffb collective while a ffb collective wouldn't completely negate that, it would still mean that there isnt a significant difference in ingame and irl collective position
SBut honestly i dont know if thats even a thing that can be replicated or if i missunderstand stuff
SAnother solution would be to disable input from the collective while AP is on. Honestly, I figured helo AP was only the cyclic, and maybe the anti-torque pedals, but not collective

JBest thing about the collective is in my eyes the feeling of vibrations/periodic effects and the comfortable configuration of friction, inertia, damping and travel. I'm loving it!

MBefore Moza jumped in the simracing scene they were a camera accessories manufacturer. They have a real logistics and manufacturing chain

Awhat's considered mid range in racing, mostly price-wise?
(Mid range as id the force used think about 5-10Nm compared to some more powerful wheels that can deliver over 30Nm force
(Think price wise they are around £500 for the base plus like sticks here they offer diff wheels

DR9 is pretty much the most popular base from them iirc at around 450€ plus the wheel and all the shenanigans you wish
