Okay. so, it's only happening if I've put the system (Legion Go, Desktop Mode) to sleep and then woken it up. If I add a non-steam without having done that, no problems

vmware not supported as it needs a kernel module, we support qemu/virt-manager
ujust setup-virtualizationujust setup-virtualization
however qemu has no 3d acceleration for windows, if you have 2 dgpus you can however set up gpu passthrough but it is a very complex setup (we do somewhat simplify it though)

a dualboot is way way WAYYYY easier

ok keep to dual boot then. copy. does filesystem matter? with bazzite? i have 3 drives on this laptop. 2 512s one TB. one 512 is windows. i was thinking of putting bazzite on my TB and second 512. thoughts?

Possibly dumb question. If I back my steam games up to my NTFS external drive then copy them over to my main Bazzite ssd will they be good to go or will the different format be an issue?

btrfs can be used in windows with the winbtrfs driver (if you plan to use a games drive between both systems)
sharing just data, ntfs works fine but it is a big no no for games
