My 6700xt can handle 144hz at 1440p in some games, I don't see why a 6600xt couldn't especially at resolutions lower than 1440.

On 144hz I get moments of black flashes. Displays turns off occasionally I trouble shooted a couple years back the same issue and it was lowering the Refresh rate.

I imagine the 6700xt and 6600xt use the same connections for display out, and assuming you're seeing 144hz advertised in settings it should work.

Often even low-spec cards support absurdly high resolution/refresh-rate compared to what they could get in gaming just for the sake of compatibility.
