SWe primarily use Cloudflare as a domain registrar & basic DNS. We also host sites on Pages and pay the $5/mo Workers plan.
My concern is our company is putting all of our clients domains on Cloudflare, and if we were to get locked out of our account or something happened like these stories you hear lately of Cloudflare shutting down someone's account unless they pay a crazy fee, we and our clients would be screwed with no way to talk with Cloudflare. FWIW I don't believe I've ever received a response from support.

Vif you're that concerned, switch your domains to a different registrar
Vthen you could switch off cloudflare at a moment's notice
CThere was a single story about a casino who was forcefully moved off after they were reportedly rotating domains/IPs to get around geoblocks, they wanted them to BYOIP. I'm not sure if I would draw too much from that.

- Using a different registrar who is also cheap/reliable like Porkbun is a good idea regardless, to not put your eggs in one basket.
- Add backup gmail/email account to your CF Account, ensure you don't lock yourself out, espec if your main one is on a domain that you have in Cloudflare
- Take what you read on the internet with a grain of salt, there's thousands at least of customers/people using CF with no issue, you're not going to see posts like "I've used Cloudflare for 5 years and 20 TB/mo, no problem" though lol
SYes, this all makes sense. Thank you for not being defensive — this is a genuine concern and I'm asking in good faith. Like I said I love the platform. I suppose I felt the need to finally ask here since, as I mentioned, I haven't had any luck communicating with Cloudflare at all in the years we've used them
Cif all you're using of CF is DNS and Proxy, you can pretty easily plan backups like with Bunny or Cloudfront as long as you control the registrar side
TI've used Cloudflare since it was first a free app, hosted hundreds of websites with tons of requests and never had an issue. even now where i run 100T of traffic daily with enterprise i have never had an issue where cloudflare forced me to pay an exhorbant amount of money
Vworkers is a bit harder. Pages is.... not actually that complicated of a product LOL, it could be replaced with nginx and a docker container
CI mean the reality is, that it is pretty hard to get fast responses from CF without Ent or live support, which can only help with somethings. What kinds of issues are you likely to run into though? Global, wider, or reproducable issues can be escalated here by us or on the community forums. Same for generic/setup questions. Billing issues/specific accounts issues do have to go through normal channels and can take a while, and we can't really do much to escalate them, but thankfully most are non-blocking.
CDepends if you use Pages Functions or not, and some frameworks integrate deeply too
Vi would lump pages functions more closely under workers then pages tbh

Cif you're using a framework which has integration with pages func, chances are it wouldn't be impossible (or maybe even easy) to switch to other platforms as well if needed

CI didn't see nothin though, loading or from any of my automatic API stuff, must have just been lucky;p

Ti just got off chat with support and they said that different extensions wouldn't work so i was looking at snippets lol

BIs this a known issue? I saw a Zero Trust incident which was fixed already, but "since" the fix it is throwing these errors
UAccess is working fine for me, so seems its most likely an issue with the IDP or with the config
