We primarily use Cloudflare as a domain registrar & basic DNS. We also host sites on Pages and pay the $5/mo Workers plan.
My concern is our company is putting all of our clients domains on Cloudflare, and if we were to get locked out of our account or something happened like these stories you hear lately of Cloudflare shutting down someone's account unless they pay a crazy fee, we and our clients would be screwed with no way to talk with Cloudflare. FWIW I don't believe I've ever received a response from support.
Did we make a mistake by using Cloudflare for our registrar & DNS? Is this a real concern? I love the platform but this has been in the back of my mind for a while now.
I can't imagine paying $200/mo (or even $20/mo) for basic DNS and domain registration per domain
