Myes they are. The big disconnect is between trim being a button and the stick
MI can have forces correct but then trim works right in game but trim force is wrong. If i change the stick force then the forces are backwards but the trim is correct force wise
NWhat aircraft and which sim you are flying is important information. I'll assume DCS. As Hiob said, ensuring the axis view in configurator correctly follows the stick is step 1. In DCS, most aircraft are fine just this way. There are a couple aircraft (the F5 comes to mind) that need to have the FFB inverted on one or more axes in the "FF Tune" options.
MMSFS and T6A. I have had this stick for some time in DCS and enjoyed it alot. But yea using tellem in msfs things are just backwards
Min the VPForce configurator, the stick moves the correct way. In MSFS I have the stick forces correct (though it oscillates even turning down gain and such in configurator) but when I move my nose up trim, the nose does come up but the stick moves forward. I just cant wrap my mind around a way to change the force for that.
Mcould it be something in the MSFS code or the T6 code? So In sim I just swapped the hat and trim force is still wrong. Anytime nose trims up the stick always moves forward.
Nif you hold the trim down, does it initially move the wrong direction and then correct itself or does it continue to move in the wrong direction to the trim stop? It's unlikely that the telemetry is backwards from the aircraft (what drives the feature in TelemFFB) but I suppose its possible. It's more likely that the physical/virtual trim setup in TelemFFB needs some tuning for that aircraft. NYes, to support autopilot and trim following, TelemFFB must be in control of the axes which means you must un-bind them in the sim or else MSFS and TelemFFB will be fighting with eachother for control of the axis position

NAfter a quick scan through the T6A manual, it seems as if it is using an external flight model and control mapping (the latter of which I have never seen before). TelemFFB relies heavily on default Simvar data for its operation. When one-off “outside the norm” aircraft are developed, all bets are off.

N@walmis sorry for the ping. Do you know what would cause "grindiness" under heavier (50%+) spring force, at the outer edges of Y axis movement? Can it be the belt? With my hand on the belt, the roughness seems to originate there and feel almost like it is slipping teeth slightly. And only happens on the rebound to center, never on the way out; also it is very noticeable on one side of the belt ("upper" side on one side of the motor pulley), never even slightly on the belt on the other side of the pulley.
NI'm thinking it HAS to be belt related from the way it feels/sounds/behaves. Unless it's motor itself (god forbid).
HApart from checking for any loose parts (pulley, shaft screws, cables) I haven't much ideas right now. How dows it feel, when you loosen the tension on the belt a bit?
HAnd how does it feel when you reduce the spring gain by 50% (just as a test)
HIf the motor was faulty, the gain shouldn't have any influence. I think.

NBelt tension doesn't change how it behaves
NLower spring force will gradually remove the grindiness altogether but that's somewhere below 50%
Nyes grub screws are fine, I'm on different pulleys now but with exact same symptoms
WHow does it feel if you turn the motor pulley without the belt?
Nhmmm I haven't tried with the motors energized yet
NWhen not energized, the motor pulley obviously cogs but some cogs feel bigger than others if you get what I mean
NI have some new 465 and 420 belts coming in tmr but I'm starting to doubt they will change anything

HI have the same effect on my MFG Crosswind FFB Mod. Everything goes smooth, unless I increase the gain too much, than it starts to feel grainy. The belt is not slipping though….
HSo I‘m really interested in the conclusion to this issue. Haven’t had any similar problems on the Rhino though.
