I never received a number like for the Rhino base. And whenever I ask the bot I only receive a reply to my order for the Rhino base.
Not sure how Walmis is handling the pre orders for the Crosswind FFB kits…

The last update a few weeks ago from @walmis was that he intends to sell the MFG FFB rudder conversion kit and also release it as Open Source for DIY.
No timeframe. Given it was announced in February with photos of a completed set, I’m not sure what the issue is. Hopefully the STL print files for the motor support and pulley can be released so some of us can get on with the conversion.

I ordered kits from German “EARLIER” than vpforce kits, it still lays on frankfurt airport DEFRAA. while vpforce kit “already arrived 3 days ago” haha. it doesn’t move at all. and I googled about it. found countless claims being late, from weeks to months. it really sucks because I decided do DIY because I don’t want to wait one month from moza ab9.

anyways, I am a kind of person very easily got stress from being waiting too long. because I cannot concentrate my work when I waiting something. I am a type of person who finish all quickly and have it done. and finally I can concentrate my work.

@walmis and walmis if u are not shipped my last order yet can I add one more pair of rhino kit? I meant 5703motor + usb kit. I planned to run 1 moza + 1 rhino but I changed my mind to run 2 rhinos because of this situation.

Apologies if this has already been asked. But is there any intention to produce a VPforce yoke.. Unfortunately I lack the time and skills to build something like that myself. Obviously there is the cls yoke, however I very much enjoy VPforce and telem FFB so ideally would like to keep everything VPforce!

so i may have figured out a way to stop that little Microsoft Edge USB popup from showing up every time you connect the rhino, it's very much a fix that you do at your own riskyou do at your own risk, but the basic idea is you can use this windows registry update to disable all OS widget features. It's unclear what other side effects this may have on the system, but from my perspective, i only use my PC for games and discord, so shouldn't really be an issue for me

I don't really know, but personally I would avoid it, the gimbal isn't naturally supposed to take much load in that direction and the Rhino is heavy

I'll let Walmis and the others give you a precise answer, but the VPforce base + a suitable (compatible) stick works perfectly with MSFS and Fenix (I use a Virpil stick, for example).

The sidestick made by FlightSimProjects and I use it with the Thrustmaster magnetic base. So it already has the Thrustmaster adaptor on it. I believe I can request the VPforce base to be delivered with the Thrustmaster adaptor, though I am not 100% sure.

I have never seen any video online of people using a force feedback (FFB) system with MSFS. Are you able to explain what it feels with / without FFB? I learnt to fly 20 years ago in Cessna 152 & 172's. When I use my Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo for setting trim, it is horrible, feels nothing like the real thing. As soon as I take off IRL I would hold the yoke and trim to climb, you get zero feedback with the Alpha & Bravo in MSFS. I stopped flying the Cessna's in MSFS because of the lack of feeling through the controls. They are still great controls, but the zero feedback is no fun for me at least. I have jumped into airliners and never looked back, I love the Fenix & FBW.

That's good to know. Thank you. I'm not too worried about the sidestick itself, the airbus is pretty basic with regards to button / trigger functions. As long as it can be connected to the VPforce base which you have confirmed it will, so it's all good!

If it works worth a warthog base with an adaptor, no reason to think that adapter wouldn't work on the rhino.

Yes, I know what you mean. I'll explain how I feel. In very short and mega simplified

: The base produces vibrations that simulate real effects (vibration of engines, wheels on the ground, etc...) so when you play, the VPForce software reproduces the effects coming from the game. Basic example. You land an airplane, and well, the wheels will produce a force in the game that will be transmitted to your joystick. Basically, the landing sensation will be 100× more realistic than without FFB. As soon as you play 1x with FFB, you'll immediately understand these brief explanations. A helicopter VRS or a stall, well, you'll feel it. If you've ever flown a plane or a car (....), you'll get the feel of it!
In fact, I've stopped playing with my Honeycomb Alpha because 0 sensations and you feel more like shaking a stick than controlling a plane. Sorry for these light explanations, but we're really talking about improving in-game sensations.
For example, my base transmits the start-up of my H145 and my whole frame vibrates (slightly). So you add a VR headset and you almost feel like you're in the aircraft. I wouldn't go back for anything! It's just incredible!
