KAh, what's the problem with hot corner, that it's not hot edge?
Aevery time I've tried to use KDE i've encountered some weird quirk that immediately turns me off
MLike windows, iPadOS, MacOS, and Android had a baby and it only got the good traits
SHe is somehow conflating the criticism of a continued removal of features and customization in gnome with a criticism of accessibility
Kthe top left is mathematiclly the slowest corner to get to for a right handed user, and it exposes shortcuts along the bottom edge

Kmy solution is to turn it off by default and use hot edge
KKDE using upper left corner makes the least sense of them all

MThere's also an extension that adds a little android/iOS style indicator at the bottom and you can just swipe up with one finger, love that extension
MAlso, if you really wanna get into it, the workspaces and window management system of vanilla gnome out of the box is more sophisticated, especially for mouse or touch screen than default KDE
MAnd it has a more functional onscreen keyboard with autocomplete support for people who don't have the opportunity to plug in a keyboard
SI used it for many years. Every single release for the past few years removed powerful features in the core system utils, like the file explorer. Use gnome long enough, and they'll remove features you like, too

GHot edge should be the default GNOME behaviour imo. It's so intuitive and fast
SThere's nothing to argue about here; I used quite a few features that no longer exist, so I switched away from it. This is objectively less functionality for power users. I am not blind, so the parallel improvements to that stuff aren't relevant to me. If you didn't use the removed features, then you'll still enjoy gnome I assume (for now)
MIt's not about meeting YOUR needs, it's about meeting most people's needs, and having extensibility to do the former

AHi! When i was using manjaro yhere was an extensions and a command to switch to teh secondary hpu of my laptop (i have a hybrid intl/nvidia). On bazzite how can i switch the entire desktop to Nvidia only instead of intel?
GSaid it yesterday, but if GNOME's workflow works well for you then it's a significantly more polished experience than KDE imo. But they're both high quality desktops for different needs

MI'd like to manage my workspaces better, not have bloat out of the box, have better extensibility, and an on screen keyboard that's full featured in case I do need to use the terminal or something, to each there own, this is not objective
MAlso, not being for power users =/= dumb you should be more careful with your language
