Ai personally dont, i like to keep the stick a dead stick, so i can tell if a sim has taken control of it or not

Aand i want to add, say damper or something to a plane (to make it feel less springy) then i use TelemFFB overrides to do that

RI dont use hardware trim in 58, thats an older pic but my current settings, minus the harware trim and static force.
RI have done that and it doesnt change boinging.
RI have everything enabled, but not stickied so DCS can do what it wants. these are my defaults for 60 mod. I never sticky anything.
RThe 60 mod doesn't have native support and the OH6 mod isnt that great. Only fly the 58 with native support, hence why I must use settings.
RI use teleffb for other setting changes, but let the vpforce manage my one profile and just turn hardware force trim on and off.
Aso a settings will still apply if the game doesn't set it, and i'm not sure if DCS will apply things like inertia or damping, so just to be sure it's not an effect like thing would be good to do a run with everything turned off. All that said -- have you double checked axis assignments, to make sure you don't have another axis also bound that's fighting with your rhino?
RYup, no double binds confirmed. I have tested with nothing in effects tab checked and still get the boing.
Aalso -- fwiw -- i wouldn't apply inertia and damper via the configurator, instead i would use telemffb to do it: because then it can detect which aircraft you are flying and apply appropriately (i think the hardware trim will still be necessary though)

RDo me a favor. Get in the 58. Hot or cold doesnt matter. When at fly and ready for take off. dont use the trim release and pull the cyclic as far right or left as you can and let go. tell me how your stick behaves. Or video it. If you are willing and have time. Thank you.

ARI am looking to see if you get the boing thing or its just me. This maneuver wouldnt be done in real life or in game for any reason so most people i have asked have never tried it to see if they get the same thing im experiencing. Also, adaptive recentering, do you think it would be helpful to have a slider to adjust what percent of spring strength it uses when active?
RMine does not do that at all, its goes past the center and them bounces back and forth until it centers. It is not as drastric as it sounds but can make using trim annoying.

Abut yeah, i think for the most part with telemffb -- i've turned down a bunch of effects, and added some stronger damping -- mostly because when i hold the force trim release, i like to make the stick have some resistance when i move it around
Aok -- so been a while since i've flown warbirds in DCS, and in that time, telem had a big update and i think i yeeted all my previous settings around that time, so i've not really set anything up. I think the main thing i do, because i have all my configurator settings at mostly max level (to give myself the biggest range for effects), i just start a free flight with telemffb running, then just see how it feels to fly and turn things down or up as necessary

Aoh also -- do you have any curves applied in DCS to your rhino?
C@walmis can you please help? My winwing adapter will not connect via the adapter. I have the F16xl by winwing. I think it's a problem in the adapter, it won't connect flush to the stick or the rhino. If I connect my thrustmaster stick with no adapter it's fine.
CAlso if I connect my wiwing directly to the original winwing base it works fine.
Chi this is not nessasarily related to the rhino directly, I have been dealing with a "Kernal-Power" issue for some time now, that black screens my computer and foces restart, anyone deal with this here by any chance?

PMy pedal mod works but not properly, it still feels good it doesn’t reacts to stall and weapon vibration, but engine vibration works, spring and damper works too. I don’t know whether it is hardware issue or software issue,

HAs mentioned earlier - since some FFB works it is almost safe to say that it isn't a hardware issue. Can you post screenshots of your complete settings in VP configurator and TelemFFB for the Aircraft you wnat to try?
HI would rather set master gain to 100% and reduce the individual effects if necessary. Maybe the gain for the particular effects you are missing is just too low.

PTPR Mod Tiger version, il2 sturmovik BOS
NHaven't spent much time with pedals in IL2 beyond the initial dynamic forces implementation.. however, looking at the effects code, it seems these two effects (buffeting / weapons) are hard coded to 0 degrees for IL2 with no user adjustable direction.. so... since pedals are the 90/270 axis, those effects won't be felt through the pedals.

Pfor weapon vibration I thought that because of Y axis is deactivated. since weapon (gun) vibration works for only Y axis with joystick. anyways it works nicely with joystick. Thanks anyway and will be waiting for next update
R@Number481 am I right in thinking, regardless what I have the effects tab set in the configurator, if dcs has native ffb support it only uses whats available from the sim? 58 will only use whats avaible. 60 will use whats in the effects tab because it does not have support natively?
