I see. That makes sense. Is there a good alternative to something like medal.tv which works properly on Bazzite? I tend to use that quite often on Windows because while OBS Replay Buffer is similar, Medal has it's own cdn you can upload clips to which is very convenient for sharing quickly.
Medal does install through Wine and launches although it does not allow for recording or uploading and asks for users to enter repair mode probably due to dependencies for Windows exclusive recording modes. I tested the Android version with wayland solely for uploads and that kinda works but acts very strange due to screen scaling + portrait mode on a 16x9 screen. I also could just be inexperienced and overcomplicating it?
followup on the issue where it takes forever to launch steam games (where before it was just fine): turns out there's a known issue where wine will do work at launch that goes over every font in the system. I had installed the complete updated set of cascadia fonts, which is not a small thing. uninstalling returned launch to a more reasonable time.
I also have that exact problem. I have three monitors. A 4k60hz IPS panel, A 1440p180hzFALD which is my main, and a 1080p60hz IPS. If I have all three displays on, My render resolution for my main screen will double or increase even further than that depending on my scaling where if I have my 4k screen turned off, My main screen actually will stick to 1440p in-games.
goddamn I'm actually just... using regular stock GNOME on this Dell Latitude I'm messing around with while I'm sick and... yeah wow this is just really nice on a laptop where the trackpad gestures work great
Hello I got a stupid question. I've recently been looking at the Minisforum 3-1 tablet and I was wondering if anyone knows if Bazzite is supported for that device? (It's a windows based tablet with AMD Ryzen cpu)
Can anyone help with some audio issues on bazzite? My front audio ports are microphone and headphone. I am using a steele series headset that has a combo to microphone and headphone splitter. The audio from other applications can be heard by my friends on discord when I use the front ports, they cannot hear that audio when I hook to the ports in the back.
I'm not sure, Haven't had similar issues on my 6650xt. Could be nvidia drivers? On another note, Is it possible to adjust the HDR "SDR brightness" slider past 1,150 nits since my relatively cheap fald AOC display can hit around 1,300 fullscreen?
So far it has held up pretty well but the only issue I have is that my main screen renders games at ~1.3x-1.5x it's OG res if my second screen is powered on?
I can't guarantee that every build is going to be perfect for every user, but I can certainly guarantee that you can use the one that worked best for you
