JReviews should start coming out soon, they are stating a software update is coming on the 15th (tomorrow) and asked to not review till after that.
1i decided not to order it because it doesnt have a "force trim interrupt" i fly mainly helos so its useless to me so i decided to go with a rhino diy!
JI reported that to them, i think the software update they are puting out is suppose to fix that, we will see

BDon’t forget that elevator droop is modeled which is super cool. What this means is that on the ground if you put the stick in the center, it will move forward to the stop all by itself. This is because without air moving over them, the weight of gravity on the elevators will make them droop which pulls the stick forward. This is modeled on the P-51 for sure, not sure about the other warbirds.
Ayeah, they probably add some sort of effect, and if not TelemFFB can definitely add it. Was more just speaking rhetorically about the general nature of the spring force being applied gradually based on air speed
MCoolest thing I found was in the Anton and one of my elevators got shot off, my pull force was halved. I wouldn’t have known it was gone without ffb

DI'd be tempted, but as I own the Alpha, I'm hesitant about the added value (except that I find it more beautiful than the Alpha)

Ai just ordered an alpha prime to hopefully rectify this, and have this flanker grip on pre-order as i much prefer the aesthetics, and also appreciate no twist

Athere are, but i think the nature of allowing rotation at the grip level relative to the connector inevitably creates an an area where some metal has to connect to the plastic, and this is ultimately a weak point that over time wears down. an all metal grip, with no ability to rotate i think is the ultimate play
Athe alpha prime is probably nearly or just as good given it's at least all metal and metal on metal connection
Ai mostly just wish that virpil would sell twist as an additional feature in the alpha/prime

Aso the real question is -- when we get our flnkr grips, how quickly can walmis get it working with the rhino? he'll have to probably make a profile, but also with the ability to support swapping out some switches...

Aehh, i wouldn't say that, i would say they've always been on the mid to higher end of the mid teir production stuff, like the only stuff better would be like super custom/military type stuff. Their alpha's before the prime were in the mid 200s, but dropped in price a bit with the Prime
NFor sure, the FLNKR will elevate their grip line
NI've never really thought very highly of their grips
NThis is their chance to turn things around
RI remember the T50 CM2 grip being called "premium" so I don't know what Virpil's standards really are
