Kcause that happens to me too - you still get the option to select 'System Firmware' - for me it's option 3

KI vaguely recall it failing the first time for me, but I re-ran the command and it let me make a selection. But don't quote me on that. I just recall I had to run fwupdtool twice before I got to pick

LEh, I disagree, but that's to each there own. The layering would add some nice rollback if it breaks things, but as thisn't isn't a system binary I'm fin e with having to fix it if I break it.

VIt's going to be very similar. Most of the benefit comes from things like newer OS base and the ability to layer packages.

A@Kyle Gospo I also just to be safe want to trim the main SSD drive using "fstrim -v" but it states that discard option is not supported.
Kif your drive doesn't suppport discard then that's it
