Finally got my rhino base built late last night, plan on plugging it in this afternoon. I’ve yet to have time to comb thru the manual… if a few short words can someone explain the purpose of the setting vs effect vs teleffb or whatever it is. Keep in mind I only fly dcs and mainly helos! Thanks in advance!

Have you tried pushing down the connector hard to make sure it’s seated? A lot of times it seems the pins just need a little extra to make contact.

In a nutshell:

You have the configuration software
you have the effects software (telemffb)
you've got DCS

Read the manual carefully, because you'll have all the answers and more in just a few minutes!

You need to configure your Rhino (1st software) then DCS (important because it natively manages ffb). Then run telemffb, which gives you the effects for each plane/helicopter. Most of them are directly recognized.

After that, you're left with the little details (which will take some time).

Ummmm. It does help but that’s not what I’m looking for, unless I was doing it wrong…. Think of it as I’m wanting a preloaded spring feel, or a linear spring. Almost center detent like without the bump… does that make sense

I get it. You don’t want a linear increase in spring load.
So you have to work with custom spring curves. Maybe someone can explain it better. I didn’t use that feature before.

Put an additional point on the spring curve (symmetrical) and steepen the first part of the curve. That will greatly enhance the initial spring force right from the center (and increase the centering power).

Fixed it. If my logitech 502 mouse was plugged into the hub, it killed the rhino. Bizarre

Don‘t make the incline too steep or too big. And you may need add some dampening/friction to keep it from oscillating on itself.

Hey, I got an issue with the y-axis motor. Inflight i just felt an uneven spring force for pull/push (pull weaker than push) It has 2-3 Amps difference for full pull and push. So it’s no imaginary feeling. My understanding of the software is, to manage the power output related to the springforce at a specific deflection?!

Also the X-axis feels more powerful at all at the same gain overall.

Defective motors?

How do the end stops work exactly? Is 100% the full range of the calibrated range or the 21/22 deg the rhino is capable of? Reason I ask is I was going to remove my 12deg limiter and use end stops to test different throw degrees….

my Rhino stopped working suddenly this morning. Yesterday, it still worked. I dont hear this beeping sounds anymore when i turn on my computer. I checked if its the powersupply, but i get 24V on that board and also the motors have a green light. Anything else i can debug here?
