OWouldn't syncthing or rclone be kinda hacky workarounds? I just want to manage files on my media server which is running Windows, but smb shares in dolphin are fragile as glass

OI so much as look at it funny while navigating via smb and it starts spamming authentication boxes or acting like folders don't exist

OAnd again, wouldn't syncthing and rclone involve replicating what I'm trying to manage on my local machine? the media server has way more storage than my local machine, that wouldn't make any sense

Omy two use cases are uploading from local machine to the (windows) server and moving or renaming files on the server

HInterestingly it works a few times. I installed a few flatpaks then I get into this state. I'm going to start over again and run it for a while installing nothing. I thought the flatpaks would be in user space (and isolated), but maybe one is splashing to core functionality
