OWouldn't syncthing or rclone be kinda hacky workarounds? I just want to manage files on my media server which is running Windows, but smb shares in dolphin are fragile as glass

OI so much as look at it funny while navigating via smb and it starts spamming authentication boxes or acting like folders don't exist

Omy two use cases are uploading from local machine to the (windows) server and moving or renaming files on the server
Jyeah if you set it up right they'll show up as folders in your file manager then you do as you please

HInterestingly it works a few times. I installed a few flatpaks then I get into this state. I'm going to start over again and run it for a while installing nothing. I thought the flatpaks would be in user space (and isolated), but maybe one is splashing to core functionality

WI figured out how to load custom edid on bazzite to expand vrr ranges like windows.
WIt involves modifying intramfs though.
WMaybe we could get a edid file location in userland that the OS looks for on boot and skips it if it isn't there?
ZI think /usr/local/lib/firmware can be used for that yeah
CCopied/screenshotted your partitions for reference while I was figuring out how to manually install Silverblue to make sure it didn't interfere with the existing Windows and PopOS installations I needed to keep to working during the transition
