By some miracle, using SteamTinkerLaunch, I've got Flawless Widescreen working to the point where it's not crashing the game. It's not applying the fix either, though.
there is an alternative method to install fedora silverblue or kinoite (depending if you want GNOME or KDE) and rebase, but that requires more steps that will have to be done afterwards
So having issues with wayland plasma I decided to try x11 plasma only to encounter an entirely different problem. Full screen games mouseable area is blocked for like a quarter of the left side of my display.
Anyone know why my wireless mouse won't stay connected to my Ally X? It's a standard USB-A dongle that I plug into my Ally X dock. It likes to work for hours on end, including continuing to work after I disconnect the Ally X and then reconnect it an hour later. Then suddenly it completely stops recognizing the mouse being connected and no mouse cursor is even displayed. I do have a single USB-A to C adapter, and switching the dongle to this adapter and plugging it directly into the Ally X will cause the mouse to be recognized. But I feel like USB-A to the dock works once, it should reliably always work!
This is gonna sound stupid, but I put Bazzite on my laptop, could have sworn I chose no password, put it up for a few days to give to my brother, was about to set it up and give it to him, but it requires a password to get in. I've tried every password I could think that I would have used, but I didn't think I even chose to use a password.
I'm having trouble running a lwjgl game in a distrobox on bazzite.
the game crashes with am array out of bounds exception while trying to find a display.
I assume this is because the game is looking for an acceptable display target and finding an empty array.
I think this game just needs opengl and java. I've installed the java version recommended by the project and now i think it's a graphics driver issue. any suggestions?
