What are you supposed to run for amps on the main config page? My psu output defaulted to 4 but I have a 9a psu. I would assume it would be safe to put 9 there? What about for the motors? I have the standard size motors

It doesn't give you temps or say anything (unless its in Chinese somewhere and I missed it)

I will admit, I didn't know about the IR testing on metal and that it isnt very effective (lesson learned). And happy to do more testing. I have flown with it for long periods of time and never noticed any issues though from heat.

Obviously more testing can be done and I am happy to try things suggested from others... its a learning process for me as I've never owned a FFB device, so was just trying to do my dilligence with what I did know and things I stumbled upon while doing my research.

SScarlet I'm so worried moza is going to sour everyone's opinion on mainstream FFB. Hopef...

I think they have time to figure out the software, i got feedback from them that they identified a lot of the issues i had and brought up. So hopefully things like force trim are just working in the next update (they claim it will be)

My hope is, on launch a lot of those issues are just solved, it seems like they should at least be able to figure that out.
I plan to do a followup for any software update i get prior to people getting their units.

so if Direct Input gets a request to set spring force to 0, and you have spring force set to 100 in the moza cockpit software, it just uses the 100

in rhino software you have the option of overriding by setting any settings "sticky", otherwise the game gets the last word exactly because of this

But at this point I’d say that the ability to tweak stick effects and forces not just with such great detail and varying effects, but within a couple of seconds of navigating software as opposed to thumb killing work on a physical base or the like is just… mind blowing

Yeah we run off standard 20 and 9A but the Rhino “can” run off a bench top power supply.

Rhino is as versatile as it will ever be and nothing will ever touch it.

That’s just facts all the rest of them aren’t “catching up”

I don’t mean nothing in the future but nothing currently will because they aren’t innovating they are copying features the rhino has already “developed”

In the future the best will get wayyyyyyy better… but your talking another 20yrs for some tech or whatever to move to the next generation

As example if they all suddenly add… “elevator droop” as discussed in the video that’s a real thing that’s not just for warbirds…

A common GA piper with a stabilitor you also get droop when under a certain airspeed until the airflow apply pressure to activate the control surfaces.

The rhino has that feature.

The rest can add it and while some folks will call it catching up…

I just call it copying haha

But that’s fine I’m not hating I just know I’d never pay $500 to be an early adopter or an equipment tester.

You can buy a Rhino and fly and fly seriously on day zero
