Eon a different note, are there some good instructions for getting Docker working? It was troublesome, so I tried podman, but my tools do not agree with podman. IntelliJ et al has sketchy support.

EVaguely. I started with Bazzite as gaming was the initial focus, but I enjoyed it so much I started doing some development on it as well.

Ri'm starting with bazzite also and settign it up as a daily driver for my linux desktop
Hhowever if you dont need steam input on the desktop and dont need VR support then bazzite-arch container might work

Kit's worked in Firefox for a while. Well, more like I'm not personally aware of any instance where it didn't work in Firefox, but I can't say it never didn't.
KPush to talk only works on Firefox (or probably Chrome too but I don't use Chrome) if you're clicked on the browser, however. But AFAIK with Wayland that's just the case in general with Discord
