Jyou shouldn't be interacting with it often, ostree is for the composition of the images
Tboth have equal features but iirc gnome wayland doesn't work with VR yet

BI often feel like I have to use it thought? I install programs regularly. Everytime I use any flatpack there's always something that doesn't work. I just spent the last hour or so trying to install google chrome without it being a flatpack, because of course it also had proglems with certain developer features not working). It worked once I finally got it installed as a non-flat pack.
BIs all "installed" applications on linux not matter what system you use basically "containerized" ?
Bor is it only flatpacks, and rpm-ostree is only making the install process secure?

Ktypically you shouldn't need to layer all that many things. A lot of things are fine in flatpak or distrobox etc.
BI've not had a single important flatpak work properly for me.

KThe things which I do have to layer, I tend to use bluebuild to put into a custom oci, rather than locally. But I do those on a Kinoite base. I only actually use Bazzite on my Ally at the moment.
Tdiscord on Linux has issues regardless of package format which is why so many vencord clients exist
