You would be surprised. Same could be said for the amount force for the wheels that have direct drive "who needs that shit at home" . There is a reason Brunner chose 100nm for their cyclic. Enjoy your moza, to each their own.
Moza for children real men like me use FF Beast ))) direct drive on the steering wheel corresponds in terms of a racing car 13-17kg, 100nm if work hydraulic its not real
Why are you even in the Rhino discord then? 32NM isn't alot of force at all. My 10 year old nephew could handle 32NM turning wrenches in my motorcycle when we work on it.
Yes I know what direct drive is and the difference. I don't use race sims. I fly in real life and use sims. I'm very aware of the forces and I trust the engineers both mechanical and electrical at brunner what they did with their cyclic has the most realistic forces applied or can be simulated based on the aircraft for FFS Level D
It's a damn shame the FFBeast's potential is ruined by bad software. The output of the stick is completely meaningless if the software isn't worth a damn.
Just go look at your software and compare it to the range of effects TelemFFB can produce. There's no argument to be made. TelemFFB is by far the superior software.
@=БК=Antony [99] This is the Rhino discord..It's clear you think the FFBeast is the best joystick since sliced bread and good for you that it works. I didn't know a flight sim and 32NM makes someone a real man. That's pretty funny...
Don't give them any attention. Just your average Russian trolls. I didn't even realize it was two separate people at first with how comically similar they were acting.
It's clear that anyone that wants to find the short comings of a product is to simply go to the products discord and glance at the discussions specifically the tech support section and that's were all the short comings are exposed. No needs to explain it to anyone.
Ice dosen't need to give anyone a response. He knows the short comings based on his own experiences and if you look in the discord the users speak about it. Ice dosen't need to do any research for you or answer any questions.
Maybe he left because he saw what I saw. People mentioning the software needs more work. As long as people are happy with the product they choose thats all that matters.
What the Russian trolls don't know is that I was on that Discord and did extensive research on both products before making an informed purchase for myself and recommendation to my brother for a FFB stick.
So are you implying he compared the products and has first hand experience with both? Pretty sure that's false. Obviously agressive about it too. Any reason for that?
And what software doesn't need more work? DCS itself is a trainwreck of a sim and has been for a long long time. Yet it has hordes of adamant fans willing to throw money at every preorder ED throws at them.
No you do not. Other people have already spoken about it who purchased the unit and have physically used it. There are people who have both the Rhino and FFBeast and you read about both sides.
I agree there is no reason to be aggressive. A product is a product but one can draw their own conclusions if they wish based on other people's experiences. That's actually intelligently because the 1st iteration of anything is rarely remarkable.
I am sorry, there is nothing intelligent in that exchange. Dude bashed the product, didn't mention any particular critical issues with it and jumped to conclusions based on what exactly? You're grasping at straws here...

M8 no one is going to care about what you have to say if you are here just trying to be edgy & rip on the Rhino telling us how much better what you have is. Did you design & create you own FFB device from scratch like the Rhino or FFBeast or the Laserwing? No you came along & got to choose what pre designed base suited you best & went with that one. Moza was not a very well thought out product, they recently stated they want to concentrate first on the side stick ability/compatibility of the base, a frigging ffb as a side stick why? Why not make it a fssb they have the experience from their brake sensors. Their software is just ridiculously lite atm & as was stated more of a glorified haptic device. The whole thing from the base & their idea of implementation to the software just seems like they didn't really think it through much before committing to a pre order state & reviews. It seriously seems like they didn't even talk to someone who plays flight sims.
FFBeast looks like a really cool ffb base, the software needs to catch up a bit is all it needs. My only real concern about the ffbeast is that ppl might actually get hurt not understanding the forces at play with some of those builds (it's not like a ~30nm wheel that is fixed & only spins in one axis the ffb with a grip on an extension at the same ~30nm is a bloody war club). I don't think an estop mounted to the base like with the Rhino would be the best idea unless mounted so it's activated with the feet. The fact it's only diy is a bit of a put off for a lot of ppl but there are kits being offered out there. Comparing the Rhino, FFBeast & Brunner Pro stuff to me it's all just for different use cases Rhino is good for a lot of different mounting solutions from desk mounts to sim pits, FFBeast is more for sim pits up to dedicated cockpits imo & obviously Brunner Pro level stuff is for.... well pro level stuff. Laserwing I haven't looked at in a long time.
Ok, so I have some pretty solid feedback on the seat belt tensioner. I am already using what I call, 'passive tensioning' as I have a motion simulator, I basically have elastic straps that connect to the base of the rig and then to my seat belt, when the rig lifts this in turn tensions my belt. I have tried a seat belt tensioner in another mates rig a few years ago and I honestly didn't feel like it was significantly better than my setup. What I would absolutely kill for is the 'Gseat' https://www.simxperience.com/shop/sx-gs5-001-gs-5-g-seat-711, if only it was compatible with FS2020 and DCS. I have actually flown in a multi million dollar sim trainer with gforce pads that actuated in the seat, blew my mid how realistic the gforces felt. Having said this though if you do not have a motion rig, this belt tensioner might be a fantastic addition. Here are some pictures of my current setup:
