Why is my configurator constantly pulling the master gain to 50% for no reason? Has anyone else had this?
WPossibly you could have sliders configured in telemFFB and it automatically sets the configured values. Without further context hard to tell 
SI don’t have any sliders set in ffb that would be causing this. Do you know which ones might be the culprit?
SDoing it both in fs2020, and in dcs
SLike even the tf51 profile does it, it wasn’t doing it on my other computer
WTry running without telemFFB and see if the settings stay. If so telemFFB is loading a profile somewhere.
SSo telemffb appears to be the cause, how do I fix it?
Wmake sure slider overrides are not activated in telemFFB
NHard to say without knowing the exact process you are following and when it is changing (you can watch the configurator slider to see exactly when it changes). However...
Today, TelemFFB attempts to leave the gains in exactly the same state in which it found it when it was started. Upon startup, the gains are read from the base. When you exit TelemFFB, it reapplies those gains. This means that if you start TelemFFB with a slider set at %50, then realize you want it at %100 and change it manually, TelemFFB will set it back to %50 when it exits.
In the next version, this functionality will be placed behind a system setting rather than being the default behavior. It can be useful, but can lead to confusing results if you don't know its happening.

Preport about il2
spring force of some planes is too low, it feels like almost there is no ffb while other effects working absolutely fine.
and I found that I cannot raise spring force gain because it is already 100%.
and master gain is already 100%
and spring force of some other planes are strong enough.
for example - tempest, spitfire vb is too low
t152h, il2 is strong enough
I think it need to be fixed. all other ffb is working fine. only spring force is the issue. Thanks.

NThis should be raised with the IL2 devs. IL2 has native FFB, meaning the spring forces are generated by the sim. A given FFB base just "does what its told" in this regard.
CI took my rhino apart some and am reassembling now. I did not realize the pulley gears had a couple longer screws. Does anyone know which spot the longer screws go?
PI pushed it to il2 devs but it will be more simple if I can increase spring gain more than 100% though
HWhat do you mean? The long screws attach the belt pulley to the gimbal. 5 or 6 each iirc. These are the longest screws in the rhino I can think of - and they can't go anywhere else. I have a DIY rhino though.
WThe two longer screws go at the base of the gimbal frame - the two "deeper" holes

TAs walmis mentioned, the long screws go on the base of the gimbal frame. Just remember that one of the bases faces the floor and the other faces the top.

Tok I'm sorry for whoever is brave enough to attempt to help me lol. I just recieved my Rhino. I have never touch a FFB joystick/ base in my life.
TWhich way does the base come configured? the red button far away from pilot or the red button close to the pilot?
Nnormally e-stop (red button) toward pilot... but its literally 3 clicks in the configurator software to invert the axes, so install it whichever way makes the best geometry for your setup
Tok next question is there a tutorial or a page for me to go to for setup or how do I get the software?

K@walmis i think my winwing adapter is dead on arrival. None of the buttons are working and error button 32 isnt on either

Ppoor connection between stick and adaptor, test whether the winwing plug goes into the adaptor sufficiently (mine didn’t)
KDoubt thats it. I really used some force to make sure its properly connected with and without screwing it. But I think the issue is between the adapter and the base cause I just got it today and according to the manual the newer versions should show bad connections between the stick by turning on input 32 which is off

Pyou’re right that the 32 indicates poor connection, not a failed stick…..mine would register the correct buttons only on firmly pressing in the stick plug to adaptor. Sounds like your issue isn’t that though
JJust finished a build and it worked for about an hour before the USB disconnected (while still plugged in).
JUnplugging and plugging mostly gives 3 beeps (three green light flashes on board) but no USB connection
JEvery 25 or 30 tries I get a quick connect and disconnect, or it may stay connedcted for 10-15 seconds
JTried 3 other powered hubs as well as direct to PC, also the three cables I have, Same issues

Tsorry just saw the part baout trying other cables. eliminate powered hub all together maybe as another troubleshooting method.
Talso maybe check to make sure the USB cable internal between the board and the USB socket hasnt come loose somewhere.
JOK this is driving me nuts now. SO far have tried 7 cables including 2 new Startec ones, four powered hubs, 2 unpowered as well as pluging into every USB port on the motherboard with restarts of the OS between each try. I thin tried my laptop, then my Son's PC and finally my driving SIm PC. All fail with the above "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed". Its the only thing plugged into the PC beside the mouse and keyboard and nothing is currently plugged into the board itself except the USB connector. I also have the USB power saving mode turned off on all PCs

WHey, I'd check the breakout USB wire that's included with the board. Maybe there's a bad solder joint under the heat shrink. It would be the fastest way of fixing it, otherwise I could mail you another one.

IMy brother is putting his Rhino together with the same exact parts I used. Winwing adapter -> extension -> Winwing 16EX. He's having trouble getting the top part of the adapter to lockup and stop turning.
IAny ideas? He's got it tight tight but it still has a little left/right play.

NYes, you can use the Sim/Class Defaults editor to change the defaults for an entire sim and/or a class of aircraft.
But also, when you are creating a new aircraft entry, it tells you that you can use regex for the match string. So for example,
