OK this is driving me nuts now. SO far have tried 7 cables including 2 new Startec ones, four powered hubs, 2 unpowered as well as pluging into every USB port on the motherboard with restarts of the OS between each try. I thin tried my laptop, then my Son's PC and finally my driving SIm PC. All fail with the above "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed". Its the only thing plugged into the PC beside the mouse and keyboard and nothing is currently plugged into the board itself except the USB connector. I also have the USB power saving mode turned off on all PCs

Hey, I'd check the breakout USB wire that's included with the board. Maybe there's a bad solder joint under the heat shrink. It would be the fastest way of fixing it, otherwise I could mail you another one.

Yes, you can use the Sim/Class Defaults editor to change the defaults for an entire sim and/or a class of aircraft.

But also, when you are creating a new aircraft entry, it tells you that you can use regex for the match string. So for example, Cessna 152.*Cessna 152.* matches both Cessna 152 AsoboCessna 152 Asobo and Cesna 152 01 LiveryCesna 152 01 Livery.

There will be the odd case where a developer (and even some of the default aircraft) are not consistent in the livery naming and a simple "dot star" will not match all of them. In that case, more advanced regex can be used. For example Cessna( 208B)? Grand Caravan.*Cessna( 208B)? Grand Caravan.* will match any aircraft name containing the string Cessna Grand CaravanCessna Grand Caravan with or without 208B208B.

also you can pull down the airplane/livery name to get suggestions when making the new plane. just pick the one where the full livery name is replaced with .*

seems like an issue connecting to the base. Are you on the latest firmware? Can you post the whole log file from %localappdata%\VPForce-TelemFFB\log%localappdata%\VPForce-TelemFFB\log

Hi, just started with building my FFB Setup. Today I finished modifying my MFG Pedals, according to the build in the knowledge section. So I pluged it in and it got instantly recognised. But when I turn the master gain and spring up nothing is happening. In my understanding I should get some resitance on the motor. Also it doesn't show any raw value for the axis. I'm sure the wiring is correct, checked it several times and it matches all the reference pictures I can find. The motor status in the software shows ok and I can feel that the anti cogging Kicks in when i power it up. Any suggestions?

I just turn on FFB in DCS and use that. No telmffb and no VPForce configurator open. And that works good enough for me.

I haven't tried that much of down trim. Only enough for level flight but I did notice that to achieve level flight my trim was mostly nose down.

So the stick was forward over the center. I don't even know if that's realistic. Never paid much attention to stick position.

probably loose connectors. You can tighten them with pliers (after disassembly)

That is perfectly normal for any aircraft that isn’t real fly by wire. For level flight at cruise speeds and higher the trim is nose down/stick forward. The faster you go the more the wings want to pitch up, so you have to counter that with trim.

that just means you have a usb device connected, shouldn’t be an issue. It’s usually used to click on to eject a memory device, like a usb stick, before unplugging to avoid corruption.

JST-PH (2.0mm). If you think you will be doing a lot of crimping in the future I would suggest the crimping tool “Engineer PA-24” otherwise just get the cheap crimpers that come with the kits from Amazon.

drop your telemffb log here (from %localappdata%\VPForce-TelemFFB\log). Most probaby something else is failing which is prohibiting normal operation.
