I thought about that, and I possibly would, but getting this big direct drive wheel off and replacing our pedals every time is a constant pain in the ass. I did that for a bit, but it turned out to be discouraging after awhile....
ah ok. I have my MFG Crosswinds permanently mounted on the bottom of my 4080 rig and I just have to mount the throttle/ collective and remove the wheel (Simucube QR). It is tight however. A second rig for flight sim would be great but quite a lot of cost considering the quite expensive tactile setup and motion system. And a second PC. Too much for me.
I have an extra tactile setup and this one will not be motion. I have the extra HOTAS as well and will use the VR for both my flight rigs (I have a primary motion rig that is setup for F-16 use). I have an extra powered USB hub as well. Only thing I need is actual rig and pedals, a second set of Winwing pedals would work great.
I used to have two pits, two computers, etc. It never failed that i wanted to use X on pit 1 but i preferred accessory Y on pit 2. So i ended up still swapping stuff half the time. Now i have solution similar to what Smitty has.
Now im working on a stable quick change solution for my Rhino so i can easilly swap it from center to side mount for when i have the urge to fly the 'bus or star citizen

No I went for the QRs from amazon that I posted above (red color). Attached to my 4080 rig from the bottom and the top detachable part attached to the Rhino mount plate or the collective.
Regarding fastening screws on the gooseneck from virpil. Is it the external two screw on the gooseneck, or the two screws on top “inside” near the connector. I need to fasten “something”.
edit they were all loose - tightened all of them.
And context - my virpil grip is loose even when screwed on tight to the gooseneck.
the two screws at the top and bottom secure the respective aluminum threaded inserts to the extension. the two screws inside the top threaded connector secure electrical connector to the threaded insert. IF you are running a TM stick grip its reccomended to remove the two screws on the electrical connector so you can put an offset (twist) in the grip
Running a CM2 grip from virpil. I should perhaps losen the electrical connection screws if I want to run it offset? Or is that a feature in the grip perhaps - that the connector is already able to twist.
Hey guys, is there a list of which grips are working in which way (eg. all buttons or just a few) with the rhino? Im thinking about switching out my vkb Gunfighter and looking for a replacement, including an extension. I‘m especially interested if the new virpil flnkr would work with it.
