WFor the spring you can adjust the spring displacement vs force mapping:
Rwhen adjusting the spring mapping vs the spring dynamics, what exactly is changing for each and do they impact each other. for example, i still get reverb/instability when adding a sharp down curve close to the center or x,y axis.
Rits better after the last update, as dampening has been improved, but still not smooth.
RAlso what does cogging feel like? can it be on only one direction of travel for either axis? For example, i get a bumping when moving off the center to the left, but this "bump" or click doesnt happen in either direction.

- Spring dynamics remaps SIM requested spring gain to a custom map. For example DCS warbirds have speed dependent spring gain - this feature allows to tweak it. For example to make it more stiff at higher speed, etc. If the spring gain is static it doesn't do anything.

WYou can feel the cogging by turning off power to the unit, when motors are unpowered you will feel the magnetic bumpiness of the motors.
If you feel a single bump or a click you can try tightening the small pulley grub screws and the large gear 5x bolts.

RThe weird bumping, i am feeling in the left x axis, feels like skipping maybe, but its only in the left x axis. up down and right have no issues

VI also seem to have this. I thought it was my 3d printed extension, which does have some play, but Im pretty sure now thats not it, as I also get it without it.
HPossible reasons for feel of „play“ in the stick I encountered: (DIY Kit!)
- The TM Warthog Stick itself has some nasty play between the grip and the crap metal connector (solved with some 3D printed wedges)
- the 12T pulley was loose on the motor axis (grub screw not secured with loctide)
- The threaded inlays in the gooseneck extension came loose (the screws that held them actuallly - solved with loctide)
- the rectangular aluminium extrusion had play in the gimbal core, solved with some electrical tape.
FI can confirm the TM warthog play. In my case upgrading the 3D printed connector to the metal one solved the issue.
Hthe play I meant is in the stick itself. The screw on connector of the stick itself sits loose in the halves of the grip.
FThat's what I noticed but for some reason when I mounted it in the aluminum grip mount the play was gone. Maybe I just got lucky.
HHm, ok. Can‘t really see how that should help. Maybe it warps/bends so much that it comes under tension? Either way. Unless taken care of, it was VERY annoying indeed!

RCan I get a picture of these different places things may cause this bumping. Sorry I’m dense. I’ve only replaced the limiter before so haven’t dove deep into how everything is connected for the gears and extrusion

EHi, how can I fix the stick oscillation issue? I've seen other users having the same problem earlier in november, but could not find a solution.
*On Afterburner shake effect in DCS F-16 when crossing with stick through center position there is some sharpish tingly increasedvibrations... why would vibrations change while passing through axes center? Could something be damaged or loose?

Rive found a wierd bug. I have hardware limiters in. I have recalibrated and have full throw via software. in dcs the game isnt using the entire travel of the stick in the x,y axis of the rhino. The vpforce software is showing the full delfection, but dcs is only using about 80%, I have no curves, nor have i messed with the gain maps.

Any aircraft you copy from your 2020 community folder over to 2024 should work without intervention.
Many of the default aircraft though have different "names" from 2020 so will require new profiles in TelemFFB. You can clone from the existing matching default profile. For example in 2020 you have "Asobo Cabri G2", in 2024 it is just "Cabri G2".
Always suggest using a wildcard option when creating a new profile so that it matches all the liveries (i.e.

TRelated to this request. The latest firmware seems to have some very picky requirements for inertia and friction to maintain stability. I’ve seen a few requests like this one pop up and have had the issue myself. I thought I had it tuned out using the estimator gains but in sim have had some unstable conditions pop up. It’s a bit of a head scratcher for me too. I’ve had to either disable friction or inertia completely as the only reliable way to fix it.

TThank you for the tips! I’m currently at vel 100 and acc 50. Damper LPF at 15 and 20 had minimal effect so I did not try to tune down further. Turning the estimator gains up eliminated the minor oscillation with hands off at idle state but in sim has had some more powerful oscillations under certain telem FFB effects. Maybe I’ve got them up too high now. I will try these settings later tonight. should I set acc gain back to the Rhino default?
